Over the years we have refurbished a wide range of properties and look more for the challenge than the level of financial return.

One of our earliest projects was the refurbishment of a Grade II Listed building built in 1634 as a farmhouse but more recently used as a Customs and Excise Office.

Being under Crown control and therefore originally outside the Planning system the building had undergone ‘modernisation’ that had stripped away it’s history and character. With careful thought and working closely with the Planning officers we were able to restore the character if not the history and this has resulted in a building that has been occupied constantly since.
At the other extreme we have recently completed the extension and refurbishment of a typical 1960’s commercial block replacing the deteriorating metal crittal window cladding system with Alpolic(reg trademark)/fr aluminium composite cladding system. A building that had lain idle in the most part for 10 years is now virtually fully occupied
