The directors of Matsim Properties consider that corporate and social responsibility is an intrinsic part of the business. We are committed to being fair, balanced and open in are treatment of all people, companies and government bodies we deal with in the business. We are committed to responsible employment policies and to a full involvement with the communities in which our business operate.

We implement where necessary appropriate social and ethical policies. We work in partnership with suppliers and contractors to ensure effective management of corporate, environment and social impacts to minimise adverse impacts of the companies properties on the environment.

We undertake new developments with a special emphasis on minimizing the visual, noise and other adverse impacts on the local environment. We employ specialists who are responsible for measuring, monitoring and managing the companies environmental impact in relation to the specific projects and properties which they handle for the business.

We adopt high levels of health and safety at work which includes providing a good working environment for our employees and treating all employees with fairness, dignity and respect. We promote a high standard of health and safety for staff and contractors and operate an equal opportunities policy to ensure all job applicants are treated equally.

We ensure compliance with relevant legislation and related requirements and ensuring that health and safety is a high priority and is factored into the design of new buildings and developments we undertake. We have measures to protect workers, visitors, tenants and clients from unacceptable risks and hazards. We ensure a safe and healthy working environment is maintained for the well-being of all employees and others. We provide first aid training to senior employees.
